Thelga Mcquiniff

Thelga Victoria McQuiniff, 92, of Sycamore, Illinois and formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2005 at her home. She was born May 23, 1913 in Champaign County, Ohio, the daughter of Herbert Fay and Mary Ethel (Randall) Stillings. She married Robert Logan McQuiniff on December 19, 1936 in Columbus. She was a retired registered nurse and she and her husband had several businesses. They were partners in life and in business. She is survived by a daughter, Marilyn (Charles) Trott of Sycamore, IL; two sons, Robert (Mary Ann) McQuiniff of Grove City, James (Lyn) McQuiniff of Mason, Ohio; a brother, Charles (Jane) Stillings of Milford Center, Ohio; sister, Julia Meek of Marina, CA; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers, Donald, Herbert and George Stillings. She was a graduate of Grant Hospital School of Nursing in Columbus. She volunteered at Christian Radio Station WCVO in New Albany, Ohio for many years. Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway Ave., Grove City, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Friday, July 1, 2005 and one hour prior to services. Rev. Douglas Nault will be officiating with interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
