Thelma Louise Roberts, 83, of Columbus, passed away Monday, January 28, 2008 at Summerville Outlook Manor. She was born June 21, 1924, in New Dover, OH, daughter of the late Russell and Gladys (Fenner) Huffman. In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Roberts and daughter, Beverly Ann Roberts. She was a loving wife and mother. Thelma was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Joseph (Mary) Roberts of CA and Paul (Susan) Roberts of Orient; daughters, Rosemary (John) Powers of MD, Bonnie (Dan) Caplin of Westerville and Mary (David) Yoder of Dublin; brother, Roy G. Huffman of Columbus; sisters, Marjorie Finch of Marysville and Joann Shannon of Whitehall; fifteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with rosary recited at 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, February 1, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, 313 N. State Street, Westerville, with the Rev. Father David E. Gwinner, Celebrant. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Cemetery, Marysville.
