Thelma Pauline Mccoy

Thelma Pauline McCoy, 79, of Columbus, went home to be with Jesus on August 22, 2021. Thelma was born December 5, 1941 in Chesapeake, OH to Holmer and Beatrice (Snyder) Collingsworth. She was an active member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of Christ. Thelma enjoyed shopping, reading, trying new things, singing and especially spending time with her family. Thelma will be deeply missed by her; children Deborah Hanes, James (Tammy Wilson) McCoy, William McCoy; grandchildren Andy (Matt), Joshua, Virginia (Kyle), Jon (Kylee), Cody (Breanna), William and Andy Scott; 20 great-grandchildren; brother Ray "Gene" Collingsworth along with many other family and friends. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, grandsons Dallas, baby Joshua, sisters Myrtle Prewitt, Martha Collingsworth, Linda Love, brothers Ernest Collingsworth, Bill Collingsworth, James Collingsworth. Visitation will be Monday, August 30, 2021, from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm with Pastor Bill Hanes officiating at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
