Theora H. May

Theora H. May, age 92, passed away on August 14, 2023. She was born on July 24, 1931 in Perry County, Ohio. She was the daughter of Gaynell M. Bernard Mogan. She was a graduate of Corning High School. Theora began her career with Capital tool company in 1950 and then moved on to Worthington Industries where she retired in 1993, where she served in many capacities. She was Lt. Govenor, Govenor Elect, and Govenor of the Kentucky and Ohio and West Virginia, district of Pilot Club International and served as President of Columbus Pilot Club a number of times. Volunteering was her passion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. May. She is survived her son, Jeffrey E. (Chris) May; granddaughters, Shannon and Kendra; great granddaughters, Miranda, Adrianna, and Savannah; great great granddaugter, Ruby; her loving sister, Gloria Jean Badurina; many nieces, nephews, and other friends. Friends may call at the Trinity United Methodist Church 4850 Haughn Rd. Grove City, Ohio 43123 on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 9:30am until time of funeral service at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Concord Cemetery. Pastor Kathleen Kisner officiating. Arrangements under the direction of the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
