Thomas (Tom) N. Burke, age 61, Galloway, Ohio, passed away October 24, 2007. Born June 12, 1946 in Columbus, the son of Paul K and Dorothy L. Burke. Tom retired from Big Bear after 35 years. He was a corrections officer at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections London Correctional Facility. Tom was a Vietnam veteran, member of the Purple Heart, life member Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6065 and AMVETS, the Shamrock Club of Columbus, Master Mason Westgate Lodge, and the Central Ohio Anglers and Hunter's Club. Survived by wife of 37 years JoAnne, sons Kevin (Abby), West Jefferson, Ohio and Brian (Denise), Townsend, Delaware. Grandchildren Molly, Sean and Bailey Burke, sisters Sharon Satterfield, Westerville, Ohio and Karen (Bob) Franz, Columbus, Ohio, many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM and 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Visitation will also be held Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio.
