Thomas Michael Craft, age 78, of Upper Arlington, Ohio, passed away surrounded by family on March 26, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He is a deeply loved husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.
Tom was born and raised in Upper Arlington, OH. He attended Holy Rosary High School, served two years in the US Navy during the Vietnam war, and graduated from Franklin University. Tom married the love of his life, Natalie, in 1971. He worked in the mortgage and loan industry, with most of his career spent at Buckeye Federal. He was also a much-loved employee of Macy's Department Store in his later years of life. Tom had many interests but what he loved most of all was spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing and annual summer trips to Lake Erie with his wife and 3 children. He was a long-time member of St. Agatha Catholic Church, where he often served as a lector and participated in the RCIA program. Tom demonstrated his love for the Christian faith in many ways, such as participating in catholic men's conferences and Cursillo retreats. Tom also often gave back to his community. He was a long-time member of the Lion's club and volunteered for Beep Baseball for the blind. Tom was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and loved to watch golf.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Patricia, sister Joanne Lawrence, brother-in-law Jan Lawrence, sister-in-law Patti Craft, niece Jennifer Lawrence, and granddaughter, Reagan McGee. He is survived by his wife, Natalie, children Jeff (Marti), Karin (Pete McGee), and Teri (Jimmy Wilcox), grandchildren, Hadley, Thomas, and Asher, brothers Denny (Leanne), Dave, and sister Janie Brown (Bill Payne), along with many other nieces and nephews.
