Thomas Cummings, age 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 7, 2023. Thomas was born on September 16, 1941 to the late Ralph and Blossom Cummings in Zanesville, Ohio.
Thomas owned and operated Tom's Auto Upholstery until he handed the reigns over to his brother, Dan, in 1984. Tom was a minister who loved to speak the word of the Lord. His hobbies included riding motorcycles with family and creating works of art with wood.
In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon; brothers, Bobby, Richard, Daniel and sisters, Betty, Jane and Mary.
He is survived by his children, Tina (Garey) of Westerville, Michael (Debbie) of Prosperity, SC; sister, Rosella Novaria of Nashport; his grandchildren, Jack, Amber, Kevin, Ryan, Matthew and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 13, 2022 at Newcomer Northeast, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road. A service to celebrate Tom's life will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Fancher Road (County Road 20) Harlem, Ohio 43082.
