Thomas J. Hamilton

Thomas J. Hamilton, 64, of Columbus, passed away May 2, 2012. Tom was born in Coshocton, OH, on June 8, 1947 to the late Thomas H. Hamilton and Mary Catherine (Weaver) Hamilton. Tom was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann. Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Mary Ann (Salmons) Hamilton; sons, Dana, Tommy, Matt; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Timmy; brothers, Ross (Ruth) Hamilton, John (Brenda) Hamilton, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom graduated from Coshocton High School in 1965, attended Ohio State University and Franklin University. Tom served in the US Army in Vietnam, was in sales for 35 years, an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing mediocre golf. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Central Ohio Chapter, 2225 City Gate Dr. Suite E, Columbus, OH 43219. A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 with memorial service immediately following at 4:00 PM.
