FLANNERY
MSgt (retired) Thomas passed away peacefully after a long and valiant fight with Parkinson's with his wife at his side on February 23, 2012. He was born December 2, 1929 in Columbus, OH and raised in Marengo, OH. Preceded in death by parents Arlie and Catherine, brothers, Bernard and John, sisters, Agnes and Margaret, grandsons, Michael (The Mick) Flannery Jr. and Sam Cazorla, great-granddaughter Natalie Brunello. Survived by wife, Beverly of 59 years, sons, Thomas Jr. (Sally) and Michael Sr. (Diane), daughters, Krystal Collins, Sheree Williams (Tony), Catherine Cazorla (Robert), brother, Joseph (Maxine), sister in law, Sandra Weller (John), 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Tom retired from the Navy and Air Force after serving proudly over 20 years. He also retired from the Local 413 as a semi-driver. Tom was a loving and giving husband, friend, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family will miss him greatly and he will always be in our hearts and mind. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Ann's ICU. The family appreciated their devotion to our loved one. Also, we would like to thank the doctor and staff at WPAFB for the long term care they gave him. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Monday, February 27, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, OH. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
