Thomas N. Giffin, 79, of Lewis Center, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born to William P. and Linnie (Hepburn) Giffin in Shadyside, OH on December 13, 1929, and was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Vivian (Watt) Giffin and 10 brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife Cheri Barr Giffin; sons, Dennis (Crystal) and David (Tamara) Giffin; Cheri's children, Marci (Kyle) Johnsen and Benjamin (Lauren) Barr; sister, June Magyar; brother, Curtis E. (Joyce) Giffin; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Tom was in sales and management for Julian & Kokenge and Nulook Fashions for over 35 years. Tom was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by all who knew him. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2009, 1:30 PM at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, 8029 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made to The Mount Carmel Hospice, C/O Mount Carmel Foundation, 793 West State Street, Columbus, OH 43222.
