Thomas Neuburger, 85, of Columbus, passed away Friday, November 3, 2006 at his residence. He was born December 4, 1920, in McKean, PA, son of the late Karl Oliver and Grace Caroline Sterrett Neuburger. Thomas was a member of Crestview Presbyterian Church and the Minerva Park Zoning Board. He was employed as a Mechanical Engineer for NASA, retired from Rockwell International and founded New Columbus Builders Inc. He is survived by his wife Katherine Marian Schultz Neuburger; son, Gary Robert Neuburger of Parker, CO; daughter, Bonnie Lee (Thomas) Ranney of Johnstown; brother, Ernst (Katie) Neuburger of Kansas City, KS; sister, Martha (Hudson) Chisholm of McKean, PA; four grandchildren and one great grandson. He is preceded in death by a son, Craig Bryan Neuburger; brother, Charles Neuburger; sisters, Sibby Walker and Betty Fratus. Visitation will be Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral services will be Monday, November 6, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Alan Wendt officiating. Interment will be in Forestlawn Cemetery.
