Thomas Andrew Paisley

Thomas A. Paisley, age 58, of Hilliard Ohio passed away unexpectedly on May 29, 2024. Tom was born October 21, 1965, to Dalton D. Paisley and Carol E. (Lockard) Paisley of Coshocton, Ohio.
He graduated early from Upper Arlington High School Class of 1984 to join the United States Marine Corp. His proudest moment was graduating boot camp after 12 weeks of training at Parris Island. Tom was also a graduate of The Ohio State University. He enjoyed OSU so much he stayed for seven years!
A simple man, Tom enjoyed beer, chicken wings, and Ohio State Football. He hosted many football parties at his home where he loved music videos of every kind. He will be remembered for his extensive knowledge of history, wonderful sense of humor, making his friends and family laugh, and often finding weekend road trip getaways with his children. He loved Halloween and distributing candy in addition to having an appreciation for all types of AMERICAN cars.
Tom will be deeply missed by his “first wife”, (as he affectionately referred to her) of 20 years, Amanda E. (McAtee) and his two children Grant and Alaina. Also surviving him are sister Nan (Eric) Brunskilll, sister in law Patience (David) Paisley, brother in law Dave (Jennifer) DeCapua, Chris Decapua, mother in law Jan McAtee, sister in law Alexandra (Sean) Sutter, brother in law Ted (Muti) Norman, step mother in law Theresa McAtee, many nieces and nephews, friends Brad Baker, Roger Eastep and the rest of the Building Department in the City of Upper Arlington where he has spent the last 18 years a Code Enforcement Officer.
Tom is preceded in death by his parents, brother Dave Paisley, and father-in-law James McAtee.
Memorial contributions can be made to Colony Cats and Dogs 2740 Festival Lane, Dublin, Ohio 43017, from where all the families beloved pets were adopted and where Amanda has been a volunteer since 2012.
