Thomas Harrison Pope, went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2013 with his children and their spouses by his side. He was born on October 12, 1928 in Wellston, OH.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herschel and Anna Pope. He is survived by his loving sister, Louise Jaques, his children, Christy (Ron) Coleman, Lee Allen, Daniel (Charmaine) Pope, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and special friend Eva Schwartz.
He served in the U.S. Navy, was a lifetime musician and singer. Tom was a member of the Heart of Ohio Chorus and St. Luke's UMC. He loved sports, working crossword puzzles, singing karaoke, entertaining at senior citizen centers and watching his great-grandchildren play.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston, OH.
