Thomas A. Ray, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
He was born on January 15, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Pearl and Ruby Ray.
Thomas is preceded in death by son, Thomas D. Ray; siblings, Evelyn Queen, Norman Ray, Dick Ray, and Dottie Ray.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marlene B. Altadonna-Ray; daughter, Rhonda S. Ray; step-son, Chris (Amy) Altadonna; grandchildren, Kailey D. Hudson, Megan (Alex) S. Gibbons, Danny Moore, Jason (Leilany) Moore; great-grandson, Carson Evan Hudson; brothers, Randy Ray and Danny (Delores) Widdifield.
Thomas was an avid Ford fan and drag racing was his life long passion. He loved nature and photography. Thomas was a member of Mt. Vernon Hill Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
