Thomas J. Siegler, 82, of Worthington, formerly of Toledo, passed away peacefully June 9, 2006. He was retired from Mettler Toledo Scale. He served his country, seeing active duty in World War II. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Jane; children, Cathy (Rob) Jenkins, Craig Aubry, Eric Aubry, Peggy (Steve) Krieger; grandchildren, Andrew, Tommy, and Kathryn Krieger and Melanie Jenkins; sister, Shirley Gunlite; nephews, Jim (Beth) Gunlite, Steve Gunlite and Susan (Jerry) Clement. Tom was a baseball coach for Churchill's Supermarket baseball team from 1955-1983 in the Connie Mack League taking the team all the way to the World Series in Farmington, New Mexico in 1966. He loved the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Football. Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00PM Monday, June 12, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43231. Funeral services will be held 1:30PM Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4150 West Laskey Rd., Toledo, Ohio 43623 with visitation from 12:00PM until time of services. Rev. Robert Wellener will be officiating with interment at Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43215.
