Thomas E. Smith, 46, of Galloway, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2007, at O.S.U. Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1960, in Columbus, son of Raymond and Marcella Salyers Smith. Thomas was a 1978 graduate of Westerville North and drove trucks for O.D.J.F.S. for 27 years and was also a part time driver for S.P. Richards the last 10 years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sons, Dylan T. (fiance Dani Abele) and Kyle C. Smith; daughter, Jalyn T. Smith; brother, Michael R. (Patricia) Smith; mother of his children, Gladys Smith and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Messages of condolence may be left www.newcomerfamily.com
