Tim Current, 60, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Whitesburg, KY. He was born June 8, 1947, in Franklin County. Tim is preceded in death by his father, Preston "Odell" Current; uncles, Bo and Chuck Rowland. He served in the Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of Amvets and the Eagles. Tim is survived by his wife, Wanda "Sue" Cook Current; mother, Marybelle Rowland Current; shared son, Greg (Jennifer) Tackett; aunts, Maybelle Wyman and Pat McCleary; grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha and Joseph Tackett; beloved dog, Sam and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, with the funeral service following visitation.
