Tim S. Smith, 48, born April 7, 1963 in Columbus, OH died May 2 at home after a long illness. Preceded in death by wife Ruth. Survived by mother, Anne; father, Dewey (Suzy); brother, Jeff (Ruth); sons, Tim, Max and Sarge; daughter, Carolyn; 5 grandchildren and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim worked as a postal mail carrier for 14 years in Grove City. His biggest joy was delivering mail on Christmas Eve in full Santa suit. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the funeral home. Family request donations be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 6150 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43213.
