Timothy D., age 61, of Columbus, passed peacefully surrounded by family at OSU Medical Center on June 29, 2009. He was preceded in death by parents Richard & Mary Josephine Griffith & brother Charles Griffith. Tim is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mary; son David (Judy) Griffith; daughter Heather (Craig) Wyatt; step-daughters Lisa (Mike) Sheldon & Rebecca Paul; 7 grandchildren, Jordan, Cameron, Emilee, Timothy, Alexandria, Sarah, Caden; brother Steven (Stefanie) Griffith; sister Elizabeth McNamee; many nieces, nephews. He was retired from the US Navy & served as a Seabee in Vietnam. Tim also worked for DW Ranney's for over 30 years. Services will be held 1pm, Fri. July 3 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 where friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8pm Thursday. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
