Timothy O'Dea

Timothy O'Dea, age 76 of Columbus, OH, passed away on April 5, 2023. He was born on September 18, 1946 to the late Lawrence and Dica (Cossin) O'Dea in Columbus, OH. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Sherri Staten and son James McDavid. Timothy is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Patricia O'Dea, daughter Tina, sons Richard Giammarino, Bryan (Haley) McDavid, God son Jeremiah Giammarino, grandchildren Madison and Patricia McDavid, brother William "Slug" Jacobs.

Timothy belong to his local 683 as an electrician for over 50 years. Tim was a father figure to everyone, always willing to help others. He loved nature, especially hunting, fishing, shooting guns and was a dog lover. He collected cars and enjoyed racing cars.


Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 2:00pm until time of service at 4:00pm.

Friends are invited to the American Legion, 1571 Demorest Rd., Columbus, OH 43228 after services for a dinner and to share more memories of Timothy.
