Tivis Farley Sr., 67, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born August 18, 1945 to Dixie Mayhorn and Rush Farley in Harts, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, John McCloud; grandson, Seth Stover; granddaughter, Bridget Casey-Farley; and brother-in-law, Lee Bragg.
Tivis is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy; brothers, Les (Linda) Evans, Darrell (Marie) Mayhorn, Wandell (Peggy) Mayhorn; sister, Audrey Bragg; children, Tammy (Ron) Stover, Pam (Chris) Coffman, Kimberly (Bob) Kelly, Tivis Jr. (Courtney); Jason (Andrea), Joseph (Randi), Christopher and Dustin (Ivy); 28 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Tivis loved hunting and never knew a stranger. He was in the Army and Army National Guard and had many stories to tell about both.

Visitation Monday, October 1, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 12 pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
