John "Tom" O'Malley, 63 of Grove City, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Cambridge, OH to Paul and Gertrude (Cazzell) O'Malley on March 1, 1946, and was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Patricia (McCourt) O'Malley; daughters, Carri O'Malley and Shannon (Rudy II) Risinger; son, Sean (Tamra) O'Malley; sisters, Germaine (Jim) Wensley and Peggy (Pete) Lambert; grandchildren, Kylee Risinger-O'Malley, Rudy Risinger III, Avery O'Malley and Cullen Thomas O'Malley; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Tom retired from Nationwide Insurance after 35 years. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009, 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Sunday, 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home and a Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3752 Broadway, Grove City, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Relay For Life, 870 Michigan Avenue, Columbus, OH 43215.
