Tonee R. Gardner Born October 6, 1971 transitioned into eternity on Tuesday May 25th 2021 unexpectedly in her home.
Tonee was a beautiful, delightful, and ambitious young lady with a contagious smile and a heart of gold. She never met a stranger and was a joy to be around she had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest.
After completing her elementary and high school curriculum. She decided to further her academic (accomplishments) achievements.
Tonee in December of 2007 was a graduate of Marshall University where she obtained an Associates Degree in Applied Science.
Also in June of 2011 she graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Criminal Justice with a 4.0 GPA.
She was also put on the National Deans List of of the highest academic honors given to college students. As well as being inducted into the Phi Thetta Kappa International Honors Society, The Presidents Honor Roll, And a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Society with her educational achievements.
She went on to secure gainful employment with JP Morgan Chase Bank where she started as an operations specialist, moving up to an office analyst, office team leader, and finally being promoted to executive office team manager.
After leaving Chase Bank Tonee went on to secure employment with Ameri Home LLC Mortgage Company. Where she was a very valuable asset to them as a senior analyst on their mortgage team. She was also up to receive another promotion with them. But God gave her the ultimate promotion our loss is definitely heavens gain.
Tonee loved to cook and spend time creating vegan recipes. She also loved to play online poker. Loved spending time with her family and friends no celebration was to big or small.
Tonee received Christ at an early age and continued to serve the Lord with gladness. Tonee is currently an online member of the Lighthouse church in Houston Texas.
Tonee was preceded in death by her grandparents Ola and Chester Conley, Roosevelt Morris, Uncle Roosevelt Swilling and sister Trista R Swiling.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory her mother and father Rev. Ivy M. de'Loatch of Toledo Ohio and Rev. Lewis R. Kyle of Portland Oregon. Daughter DeVereau N. Powell (Jacob Vega) of Cleveland Ohio, Son Joshua M. Swilling (Sally Kay Mills) of Bluffton Indiana, Brothers Christian I. Swilling (Misha) of Toledo, Jeremiah Kyle of Tuscon Arizona, Ray M. De'Loatch II (Henrietta) of Detroit, Sisters Torrie F. De'Loatch (Ricardo) of Columbus Ohio Candace Kyle of Oregon, Grandson M'kel Powell, Messiah Powell, Granddaughters Makayla Powell, Mia Vega and grandmother Beverly A. Morris.
And a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with a Funeral Service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home - 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
