Tracie Doerfler

Tracie Doerfler was born on August 24, 1967, in Oakland, California to Ben and Sheila Goodall. She moved with her family to Central Ohio at a young age, and spent many years there. After marrying Matt Doerfler, they moved to Philadelphia, PA where they lived for 6 years and had their first son, Brandon. Shortly after Brandon was born, they moved back to Columbus, Ohio. In March of 2005 Tracie and Matt had their youngest son, Ryan.

Tracie loved spending time with family and friends, working hard, and serving others. She worked as a supervisor at various distribution centers early in her career. In 1997, she started a daycare business and quickly became the best friend of many kids. She had a true passion to love on children and provide a safe, fun environment for them.

Tracie also loved Jesus and loved telling others about Him. She was active in her local churches, attending and serving. She spent the last 10 years attending Grace Fellowship. She loved the compassion, community, and Gospel-centered mission of Grace.

Tracie truly had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Surviving family includes her children, Brandon and Ryan Doerfler; Twin sister, Stacie Goodall; Brother, Benjamin Goodall; Father, Ben Goodall; as well as beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Tracie is preceded in death by her mother Sheila (Munyon) Goodall.

Tracie's family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the very professional care provided to Tracie by the staff at Fairfield Medical Center as well as the amazing Chaplains that helped her family walk through her last few days. We are so grateful for you.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life, which will be held at Grace Fellowship Chapel (575 Diley Rd, Pickerington OH 43147) on Saturday, March 4. Visitation and fellowship will be from 2-3pm with a service and worship following at 3pm.
