Travis Kain Buyer, 25, from Columbus, Ohio passed away on November 13, 2018 at St. Ann' Hospital. Travis was born on January 7, 1993 to Gary and the late Freda Buyer. He was married to Vanessa Buyer (Street) for 3 years. Travis will be deeply missed by his wife; his children, Aaron, Eden, Jeremiah, CJ. His parents Gary (Judy) Buyer. Along with his younger sisters, Trystan , Amber, and Skylar Daugherty; his grandmother, Virginia Talbot; cousins, aunts and uncles, and all his friends.
Travis attended many different high schools, making many friends along the way. He and some of his friends kept in touch throughout the years. He liked to pick on his sisters, and sometimes got in trouble for it. But he made them stronger as they got older. He was very humorous and always found ways to make others laugh, along with himself. Making goofy faces or speaking in different voices. He was shy at times, but also had his moments of fearlessness. He cared very deeply for his family and would do anything to protect them.
Travis worked hard learning the family business with his father (Gary) in construction. They spent alot of time together during those years and grew even closer. Travis showed great potential, becoming almost as good as his father. Working with other crews and at times his wife would lend a hand. He was so young, he was still trying to get his life on track, learning all he could. The three of them became a team and it will be very difficult without Travis .
He was preceded in death by his mother, Freda Buyer in 2013, his grandparents on his mom's side and aunts, Faith and Felicity. Vanessa and him met early on and kept in touch throughout the years, they were each other's soulmate. He was a very good father to their children and a hidden romantic. He was sensitive, but let only those close to him see that side of him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 27th, from 4 to 7pm at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.
