Trevon LeShawn Martin

Born February 25, 1992 in Chicago, IL at Jackson Park Hospital to April Denise Martin (Schauncey) of Danville, IL, Mark Gains (Sara) of Gainesville, FL and John Johnson of Champaign, IL, both father figures in his life. He attended Meadowview and Hillcrest Schools followed by Western Illinois University. At an early age he also attended Christian Life Central. 

Trevon had a host of jobs in his life but was most proud of his job as a playground erector for Top Notch Rubber Surfacing, a job that became his heart and soul building playgrounds for Children across the United States.

Trevon loved his family, hanging out with his daughter and playing his games with his boys.

He is preceded in death by Rayvon DeAndre (brother) Glenn Dale (grandma) Percy L. (Uncle) Percy L. (Grandpa) Ora Lee (Great-Grandma) and Kenneth (Uncle Bear).

He was loved in life by daughter Mila Martin (Destiny Haskins-Mother), Life Partner/Wife Kerry Vadasz (Martin), Yolanda Richardson and David Martin, brothers and sisters: Shekiya Martin (Kamaira Martin-Toney) Schauncey Blevins Jr. (Kinsley Blevins) Chelsea Martin, Shakayla Martin, Nick Martin, Antonette Gains-Tharp, Jazman Gains-Tharp, Sylvia Gains, Anthony Merchant, Myles Blevins, Ella Gaines, Mark Gains Jr. Breanna Cole, Davion Johnson, Bianca Johnson, Gordon Hill, Alexcia Cleveland Ttriineece Davidson. As well as his beloved cousin Krista Page, nieces: Tanaza Martin, Tanija Martin and his one and only great niece Kalia H.

Trevon was loved by anyone he met and will be deeply missed by all. He will be forever in our hearts and never forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 3:00-4:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel - 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00pm.
