Troy Earl Herdman

Troy Earl Herdman, 91, of Columbus, Ohio passed away July 15, 2021. He was born November 9, 1929 in Evans, West Virginia to Wallie and Mirla Mary (Miller) Herdman. He was an avid guitar player. Troy was a mentor and teacher to many. Troy was a member of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Troy will be deeply missed by grandchildren, Cody Herdman and Nathan Herdman; great-grandchildren, Parker and Lincoln Herdman; many nieces and nephews and cousin Larry (Vicki) Miller. Troy was preceded in death by his wife Joan, parents; son, Michael (Tina) Herdman; sisters, Wilda Boles, Betty Lou Parsons, Gladys Eblin, Alma Hoffman, Reva and Maxine; brothers Robert Herdman, Clarence "Curly" Herdman, and Dencil Herdman and close friend Becky Wilson. Visitation will be Monday, July 26 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus.
