Troy P. Smith

Troy Patrick Smith, born July 30, 1967 died on Nov. 1, 2022. Survived by mother, Sandra (Cornwell) Sword of Columbus and father, James Smith of Washington Courthouse; aunt, Paula (Jim) Kuzelka of Commercial Point; aunt, Kathy (Null) Wilkins of Ontario; uncle, George Null of Commerical Point; several cousins and special friends. Troy was preceded in death by grandparents, Esther and George Null and James and Margie Smith.

Troy was a graduate of Teays Valley High School and Eastland Vocational School. He worked for 35 years at Majestic Paints and had recently retired. Troy was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and auto racing. For many years, he was actively involved with a racing team at Columbus Motor Speedway until it closed. Troy also loved the Hollywood Casino where he had many friends and was well known at the craps table.

Visitation Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022 from 4-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Graveside Service Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 at 1pm at Beckett Cemetery in Commercial Point, OH.
