Umberto "Albert" Nunziante, 91, Columbus and formerly of Galion, OH, passed away Wednesday, November, 7, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.
Albert was born in Caserta, Italy, on April 22, 1921 to Salvatore and Orazia (Strasloue) Nunziante, and is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie (Ciaramella) Nunziante; several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his sons, Salvatore "Ted" Nunziante and Mike Nunziante; daughter, Joanne (Mike) Miles; grandchildren, Michael F. (Beth) Nunziante, II, Andrea Beckerman, Derrick M. Nunziante, Sean (Chrissy) Peterson, Brandie (Nick Huffman) Peterson, Kylie Nunziante, Erin Nunziante; great-grandchildren, Malachi, Madalynn, Nolan, Kayla, Jacob, Emma, Abby, Bella, Kyley; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, 4-6 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Parish, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, OH 43229. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Anthony Parish.
