Unnikrishnan "Maash" Nair

With heavy and bittersweet hearts, we announce the passing of Unnikrishnan “Maash” Nair, a beloved husband, father, brother, and pillar of our community. He peacefully departed this world on 17th February 2025, at the age of 63, surrounded by friends and family. Born on 4th March 1961, Unni’s life was a celebration of generosity, integrity, and devotion.

His love and legacy are carried on by his wife Latha, son Krish, daughter Meera, daughter-in-law Simran, and countless friends and loved ones. They will remember him always, and especially as he lived in his favorite times - parties and vacations with friends, visits to his home in Kerala, playing sports and laughing, and peaceful evenings at home with his wife and children. Memories of his open friendliness, his selflessness, his discipline, and his faith will guide his loved ones as they face life without him. Even in his passing, he is a teacher and support to us all. He has left us with the gift of love, as his nature was to make meaningful connections and friendships with anyone he met.

A celebration of his remarkable life will be held on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 from 11:00am - 1:00pm, at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Reception, 10051 Brewster Ln. Powell, OH 43065.
