Velma Irene Moore, 78, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Marvin and Louisa (Blaine) Vansickle, Velma is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Moore; son-in-law, William Ogle; sister, Dottie Gray. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Ogle; granddaughters, Cheryl (James) Barrett, Wendy Myers, Pamela (Jeff) Staley, Brenda (Tony) Bear; 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Cartwright and Wanda (Joe) Russo; brothers, Everett (Jane) and Darrell (Merl) Vansickle; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, 2-4 & 6-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the funeral service on Thursday, October 25, 2007, 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Kingwood Memorial Park.
