Vera L. (Corbin) Holland, 91, of Columbus, Ohio passed away September 20, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Holland Sr.; son, Jon; grandsons, Scott and Steve; parents, Ray and Margaret (Casey) Corbin Sr. and brother, Ray Corbin Jr. Vera is survived by her daughter, Karen (John) Combs; son, Eddie (Sandy) Holland; grandchildren, John, Richard, Toni, Jon, Alan (Lauri), Dan (Shannon); great-grandchildren, Jesse, Cody, Sabrina, Andrew, Olivia, Caroline, Mary; great, great-grandchildren, Trenton, Trennedy, Lorean, Michael; sisters, Adele Eierman and Kathleen Rawlings and sister-in-law, Gean Corbin. Vera was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, the order of The Eastern Star and Past President of Linden Elementary and Linden McKinley High School PTA. She worked as a purchaser for DCSC where she purchased air plane parts during the Vietnam War. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Monday, September 25, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43231. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until time of services. Interment will be at Union Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.NewcomerFamily.com
