Vera Moore, 87 of Columbus passed away November 15, 2005 at St. Ann's Hospital. Born on November 7, 1918 in Newfoundland, Canada to the late Giddeon and Gladys (Avery) Benson. Vera was a retired Nurse for the O.S.U Medical Center, and was a member of the North United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Robert Moore; Parents; Sister, Sara Forward; Brothers, Clyde, Reg "Benny", and Frank. Vera is survived by Sisters, Marion Longo, Melvie Miller, Ruby Reaper; Brother, Alton (Gwen) Benson; along with several Nieces, Nephews, and Friends. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 from 6-8 P.M. at the Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Messages of condolences may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
