Vergie Evelyn Price, 86, of Grove City, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Monterey Care Center. She was born November 17, 1923, in Dart, OH, daughter of the late Bernard and Hilma Hune Farley. In addition to her parents, Vergie was preceded in death by her husband, W. Bruce Price and brother, Miles Farley. She was the author of "Ancestry of Bernard Gale Farley and Hilma H. Hune" and "Geneaology of Hune-Drost". Vergie is survived by her sons, Gregory (Jan) Price and Lowell (Lori) Price; brother, Myron (Evelyn) Farley; sisters, Sara (Ralph) Householder and Judy (Steve) Weber; grandchildren, Doug (Megan) Price, Jeffery Price and Miles Price; great-granddaughter, Emma Price and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2010 from 11:00-2:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Concord Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 420 Georgesville Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43228.
