Verlie (Nee Justice) Thacker, 91 years old, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 15, 2010. Verlie resided at the Harris Askin House in Westerville, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands and several brothers and sisters. She will be dearly missed by her son Phillip and Phyllis Varney of Westerville, sister and brother in law Bertha and Bobby Maynard of Fetch Creek, KY, two granddaughters Tara Varney of Westerville, Tina and Eric Casto of Canal Winchester, three great grandsons, Chaz, Casey and Liam and two great granddaughters Chloe and Rhozwyn and many other family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, January 18th, 2010, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 19th, 2010, 11:00 AM, all at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. Interment immediately following the service in Blendon Central Cemetery.
