Vernetta R. Oster, 91, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2013.
She was born November 8, 1921, in Ste. Genevieve, MO, and is preceded in death by her husband Edward Oster.
She is survived by children Cheryl Oster, Rick (Kathy) Oster, and Lisa Trago; 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.
Vernetta was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired nurse.
She devoted her life to Christ, her family,and her beloved pets.
Family will receive friends Friday, February 8th, 2013, 10:30-11:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00am at St. James the Less Church, Oakland Pk Ave..
