Vernon L. "Butch" Curnutte, age 79, of Grove City, Ohio passed away at his home on December 5, 2024. Butch was born in Grove City, Ohio on August 20, 1945 to the late James and Eva Curnutte.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Curnutte, 8 of his 10 siblings, his grandson, Scott Curnutte, his son-in-law, Dwayne Brooks, his great-grandson, Tanner Dillon and his great-granddaughter, Rylie Dinovo.
He is lovingly survived by his children, Vernon "Jimmy" (Becky) Curnutte, Karen (Larry) Macioce, Norma (Joe) Jeffery, Teresa Roberts, Tammy Brooks, Vicki Snyder, Michelle Williams, Dwayne (Kelly) Curnutte, his sister, Shirley Bricker, his bonus children, Miles Snyder, Timothy Sherman, Skilar Sherman, his special niece, Tina Linley, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.
Butch found peace in fishing and spending time with his family. He was always telling jokes. He loved watching football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a gifted guitar player, playing since he was young boy. He took great pride in his work, he could build a house from the ground up.
He will be deeply missed.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123 from 6pm-8pm for calling hours. Additional calling hours will take place Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9am-10am prior to the funeral starting at 10am. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery Old Section.
