Vernon Deem

Vernon Wayne Deem, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2005. Survived by wife, Margaret "Polly" Deem and daughters, Deborah (Charlie) Cumbow, Linda (Hank) Stromeyer and Patty Deem; grandchildren, Erin (Gary) Grzechowiak, Isaac Fenner and Trenton Cumbow; great-granddaughters, Kayla and Lynsi Grzechowiak. Mr. Deem graduated from University of Kentucky, in Civil Engineering and was a licensed Professional Engineer of Ohio. He served 2 years in the U.S. Air Force. Retired from Chevron U.S.A., active member of the Gahanna Kiwanis Club, active member of Jersey Baptist Church. Visitation will be 2 - 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Rd., Pataskala. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 at the Jersey Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made in Wayne's name to Mt.
