Vesta A. Faulkner, 85, of Pickerington, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Forest Hill Care Center. She was born March 22, 1922, in Kimberly, WVa., daughter of the late Isaiah and Emma Vaughn Coleman. In addition to her parents, Vesta is preceded in death by her sister, Arvonia Coleman, Martha Smith and Carrie Woods; brothers, Ulysses and Curtis Coleman; ex-husband, George Faulkner. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Connie) Boykin, Rashida Ali and Gloria Micochero; grandchildren, Nkenge Jacobs, Kenny Faulkner, Nkosi Boykin, Nneka Boykin, Natalie Micochero and Amir Rashid Ali; brothers, Glen (Ellen), Zane (Hazel), Alden (Jan), Robert (Margaret), Isaiah (Gail) and Ronald (Cheresa) Coleman; sisters-in-law, Aurlyne and Sue Coleman; great grandchildren, Roger, Kaleiah, Tyus, Jahni, Janese, Ashley and Eskerney; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19, 2007 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus.
