Vicky L. Carr, 53, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2012 due to complications after surgery for Pancreatic Cancer.
She was born February 5, 1959 in Columbus.
Vicky was preceded in death by her father, Larry Mettler.
She was a 1978 graduate of Linden McKinley.
Vicky is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Robert Carr; daughters, Amy (Matthew) Macklin and Sarah Carr; mother, Sue Kaiser Mettler; sister, Cindy (Rodney) Poling; brothers, Michael (Helen) Mettler and John Mettler; granddaughters, Julia and Lauren; nieces and nephews; stepmother, Laura Mettler.
Visitation will be Monday, August 27, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hirhberg Foundation for Pancreatic Research, 2990 S. Sepulveda Blvd. Suite 300C Los Angeles, CA 90064.
