Victor Reed Coombs Jr., 65, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his closest family members on August 8, 2021.
He was preceded in death by parents, Victor Coombs Sr. and Ruth Coombs; sister, Cindy Ina Brown; and other siblings.
Vic is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Barbara Coombs; mother of his children, Sheila Coombs; children, Erin (Rob) Siemer, Breandan Coombs, Molly (Justin Williams) Sarvino, and Richard (Cynthia) Dewey; grandchildren, Haeli and Kendyl Siemer, Alden Coombs, Cody, Dale, and Braeden Dewey; great-grandson, Beau Dewey; brother, Milton (Cindy) Watts; sisters, Arlene Baylis and Cindylee Adkins; many nieces and nephews; special little brother, Bruce Foughty.
Vic was a die hard OSU fan. He was an avid music connoisseur, loved to go fishing with his grandchildren, and was best known for being the life of the party. Vic took great pride in being the sole caregiver for his wife, Barbara for the past 10 years.
Visitation Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 12-3pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Celebration of Life immediately following at the Alkire Park Clubhouse, 2000 Kyger Dr., Columbus, OH 43228.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victor's memory to Echo Hospice, 8050 North High St., Ste. 160, Columbus, OH 43234.
