Vidya Bakhru, 86, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at Columbus West Park and Rehabilitation Center. She was born November 22, 1922, in India. Vidya was preceded in death by her husband, Udharam Bakhru and son, Kumar Bakhru. She is survived by her sons, Prakash (Mary), Vijay (Shobha), Thakur (Gita) and Ramesh (Pratima) Bakhru; daughter, Lalita (Ravinder) Kapoor; fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 4:00-5:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway Grove City, with the service beginning at 5:00 PM.
