Another passion of his was golf. In 1979, he, along with twelve others, founded Hickory Hills Golf Club in Grove City,Ohio. Vince knew every blade of grass on the course and loved to spend time there and talk to anyone and everyone about the club. Even though he hadn't been able to golf in years, he still enjoyed driving the course in a golf cart and visiting with the members. Vince was also a member of the Columbus Italian Club (CIC) and lifelong Ohio State Buckeyes and Columbus Blue Jackets fan.
