Viola Lorretta Petty, 84, of Columbus, passed away December 6, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Olie Rogers; son Robert John O'Harra; brothers Walter, John and Lawrence and sister Hazel. Viola is survived by her daughter Patricia (Edwin) Jeffries; grandchildren Gregg (Alicia) Jeffries, Bryan Jeffries and Gwen (Jeff) Minor; great-grandchildren Amanda, Matthew and Rachel Jeffries, Jared and Darby Minor; brother James Rogers and special friends Rick, Jennifer and Stephanie Gunther. Viola volunteered at McDowell Senior Center and enjoyed crafts and square dancing. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, December 10, 2005 at Friends Worship Center 3030 Clime Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Visitation will be held 4:30-8:00PM Friday, December 9, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio. Pastor Bruce Bell will be officiating with interment at Sunset Cemetery. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
