Violet Church, 82, of Columbus, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2008. Born to the late Robert and Martha (Russell) Wright in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, on March 14, 1926. Violet is survived by her husband, Garland; daughter, Gertrude Robinson; husband's daughter, Melanie (Shawn) Lawhorn and husband's sons, Garland Jr, Mark, Peter and John Church; sister, Lucille Wint; brother, Earl Wright; grandchildren, Nadia Robinson and Troy (Marie) Robinson; great-grandchild, Kaya Boone; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren of her husband's. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2008, 9-10 AM at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 206 N Garfield Avenue, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, Reynoldsburg, OH.
