August 10, 1942 — May 16, 2013
Virginia "Jenny" Evans, 70, Johnstown, OH went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 16, 2013. Preceded in death by her parents, Earlie and Alpha Spaulding; sisters, Janice and Stella; brother, Chris.
Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Ray; sons, Greg (Maggie) and Danny; daughter, Eloise (Jay) Young, sisters, Eloise (John) Marcum, Lois (Dave) DeGarmore, Wilma (Dan) Harder; brother, Earl Spaulding. She was a loving and awesome grandmother to her 8 grandchildren; Jenida, Jennifer, Sarah, Tiffany, Matt, Amber, Kalyn, Shawn, and 9 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hazel, Thelma, Goldie, Charles and Amos along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jenny was a long time member of the Neil Avenue Baptist church.
The family would like to THANK the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at St. Ann's for their excellent care and compassion.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231 with the Funeral Service on Tuesday, 10:00 AM.
Pastor Mike Parsley will officiate.
Interment will follow at Fancher Cemetery.
