Virginia McCarty, 88, of Grove City, OH passed away October 7, 2011. She was born in Uhrichsville, OH to Lewis and Ruth Marie (Chaney) Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Loren McCarty and sons, Chuck and Mark McCarty. Surviving family includes, daughter-in-law, Rose Evans-McCarty, sister, Betty Norris, friends, Jack and Naomi Woods. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Carriage Court Assisted Living of Grove City for their care. Per Virginia's wishes cremation will take place and private burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of Virginia may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
