Virginia Eilen Perley, age 90, a loving mother of 5, passed away at Riverside Hospital on April 2, 2021. Born on February 4, 1931 in Hilliard,Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ida Weldon; brother, Fred Weldon. Survived by her sister, Dorothy Brenot; brother, Homer Weldon; children, David Perley Jr., Tom Perley, Scott Perley, Linda Ricciardi, Richard Weldon; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. Virginia was a very loving mother who always thought of her children before herself. Although Virginia was divorced she remained close to her ex-husband. David Perley preceded her in death by only 6 weeks. The two of them will be buried together at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Hilliard next week when a date can be announced for inurnment. David James Perley, born in Saint Petersburg, Florida on April 25, 1928, passed away on February 16, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Perley; father, Ward Perley II; and brother, Ward Barton Perley III. He is survived by his children, David Perley Jr., Tom Perley, Scott Perley, Linda Ricciardi; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He was a top handball player, a 37 year career veteran at Battelle, and a longtime Florida retiree.
