Virginia Rayburn

Virginia B. (Wilson) Rayburn, age 84, passed into the arms of the Lord on Monday, June 30, 2003, at home surrounded by her family following a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. Retired from Nationwide Insurance. Born December 2, 1918, the daughter of Glen and Ivah Lena Wilson in Fayette County. Married Charles K. Rayburn in 1936. Preceded in death by husband Charles; sister, Frances Coon; and grandson, Jerry Rayburn. Survived by sons, Charles (Anita) Rayburn, and Kenneth (Patty) Rayburn, of Columbus; daughter, Joanna (Michael) Zeimer of Ashville; brother-in-law, George Coon, of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Marc (Yvonne) Rayburn, Kimberly Rayburn, Danny (Traci) Zeimer, Teresa (Rickey) Pierce, Christopher Bless, Kenny Rayburn, Dexter Rayburn, and Brian Rayburn; six great-grandchildren, and several cousins. Friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus. Funeral service, Thursday 2 PM at the funeral home.
