Virginia C. (Beisler) Romaniw, 85 of Columbus, OH, passed away at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on August 20, 2013. Born on February 2, 1928 to the late William and Virginia (Rabe) Beisler in Bronx, NY.
Virginia loved her family, New York City, Broadway Plays, loved to watch old movies, crochet, and word searches. She was a very generous person and enjoyed cooking, knew no strangers.
Survived by children Carol (Ken) Hoover, Mike (Cindy) Romaniw, Jean (Paul) Montgomery, Pete Romaniw, Steve (Ivette) Romaniw, Roxanne (Pat) Veeley, Kathy (Mike) Hinton, Mary Romaniw; 20 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Bress; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by husband Michael Romaniw, and long time friend Dave Dayton.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio on Friday, August 23 from 5 to 8pm. Funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday at 10am.
Burial to follow at Old Blue Church Cemetery, Sunbury, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be directed to Columbus Speech and Hearing Center, 510 E. North Broadway St., Columbus, Ohio 43214.
